Description
At Midnight's Hour,
deep into the forest's trees
lies a stump, aged and broken
where one can send her pleas
to say this rhyme,
with agony in their will
calls forth the being,
neither angel nor devil
They call him the God of the Lost
who guides children and men,
and too bargains and deals
for fair and truthful amend
Say this rhyme with agony in your heart,
and atop the broken stum'
watch the mound that breaks apart
and see if the god will come...
Herbie: And that I did, and now I beacon ye, old God of the lost...
God of the Lost: aye, you did, my child, so what is it I can enlighten you?
Herbie:...a way...a way to help a friend...
God of the Lost: is that all you yearn, my child?
Herbie: shakes her head* no...
God of the Lost: Honesty, child...
Herbie: ...I...I also want a way...to rid of the world of the Death Wytes!
God of the Lost: Vengeance is not why I exist child, but your deal interest me. And what is it you propose in exchange for their destruction if I were to agree?
Herbie: ...anything.
God of the Lost: ...Explain, child...
((So Herbie's making bargains now, you ask? Well, not exactly new I tell you that since she's already made bargains with gods and spirits before. But what can come through this? Can Herbie really find a way to return Carmel's memories and rid Ooo of the Death Wytes? And does Bit knows about all this?
We all shall see...
P.S.
I would like to thank Stephen King for inspiring me for this creature...))
